THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OAT BRAN VS WHOLE GRAIN OATS?
Whole Grain Oats: are the entire kernel of oat. For example, rolled oats (steamed and pressed by a roller) and steel cut oats (cut by steel blade 2-3 times) make up the entire groat. Fun fact, groat comes from the Scottish word describing an oat kernel after it has been hulled!
Oat Bran: Consists of only the oat bran which is the outer layer under the hull/shell.
