The Athens Salad is a vitamin packed veggie filled salad with tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, onions and olives!
A typical Greek salad is filled with onions, cucumbers, olives, ripe tomatoes, olive oil, and feta cheese. We took things a step further and created a veggie overloaded salad with a Plants Make Food twist! Of course we skipped the cheese and added loads of fresh olives and sun-dried tomatoes from the farmer's market. By the way, you haven't tasted a real olive until you've come to Athens! We're not talking about one of those pitted canned olives you get on your pizza. We're about talking days old olives that have so much flavor that you might forget about the pit and swallow it whole!
Our Athens Salad dressing includes a tasty blend of fig balsamic and tahini. When mixed together this combo creates a thick paste like consistency. Don't fret, just add some water and this fig balsamic and tahini forms a harmonious marriage!
